The Village at The Woodlands Waterway retirement community will host a ceremony to dedicate the installation of an American flag and flag pole on its grounds.
Local dignitaries will be participating in the event, including U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady, representing Texas’ 8th district. The public is invited to the ceremony, with a reception to be held afterward that will include refreshments and door-prize drawings with multiple chances to win a prize.
“Our residents and staff are excited about the installation of our impressive new flagpole,” says Jesse Sias, Executive Director. “We are honored to have many Veterans among our resident population, and flying the colors offers an additional salute to them. In fact, the ceremony will pay special tribute to Mary Bauman, who served in the Navy Reserve.”
