Martha Hall Kelly’s bestselling historical fiction novel, Lilac Girls, introduced readers to Caroline Ferriday, an American philanthropist who helped young girls released from Ravensbruck concentration camp. Kelly’s newest book, Sunflower Sisters, will be released March 30, and tells the story of a Union nurse who joins the war effort during the Civil War, and how her calling leads her to cross paths with a young enslaved girl who is sold off and conscripted into the army, and a southern plantation mistress whose husband enlists.

Join this online event to hear author Martha Hall Kelly tell the story of how Lilac Girls and her two prequel novels came to be. You will also be able to ask questions about any of Kelly’s books or about her journey as an author.

The first 10 people to register through each community and attend the webinar will receive an advance copy of Sunflower Sisters. There will also be a raffle for all participants to receive a free a free author-signed copy of the book!
